We get a lot of questions from our educated customers. We love this! Hara is geared towards the educated consumer, and we thought we should get this information out to everyone.
F.A.Q.
Q. What is the PARTICLE SIZE of our zinc oxide?
A. Cumulatively, the smallest particle size is 0.3559 micron and the average size is 1.76597 microns. This particle size becomes bigger when added into a formula due to agglomeration. (micronized zinc is generally .2 microns or smaller)
Q. Do we sell our sunscreen in bigger containers?
A. No, unfortunately we do not at this time.
Q. What is the shelf life of Hara?
A. Believe it or not, Hara should last at least 2 years after the foil seal is broken. Our formula is anhydrous, meaning it contains no water, so we only need less than 1% of vitamin E to keep our product fresh.
